Movement Research at the Betty Center is dedicated to a critical examination of the body, movement and history. The focus is on perspectives beyond the established canon and the visualization of artistic and theoretical positions that have so far received little attention or been suppressed. Dance is examined here as an interwoven practice between art, society and colonial history.
